I joined the group because I wanted an outlet that would challenge my personal and professional growth. I wanted an outside circle where I could just feel free to be "me."  I have a sister circle but I knew this would be different.  I am generally the glue that holds everyone together.  I wanted to be filled the same way that I pour.  Since becoming a member of The Ladies League of Detroit, I gained the confidence to go back to school, the courage to start my business, and the network to be amongst sisters from all walks of life.  Having an accountability partner has been beneficial, because she assists me in staying on track with my goals.  I have been exposed to individuals that have aided me in reaching my most optimal self.  This is one of the best decisions in my adult life.
